Placements24 is seeking a Lead Information Security Architect to spearhead our security strategy in a remote-first setup. You will design, build, and maintain the enterprise-wide security architecture, providing technical leadership and strategic direction across engineering, operations, and business units.

You will shape the security roadmap, mentor teams, and drive the implementation of advanced security solutions to protect our digital assets in a global, distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a security architecture role.
• Proven expertise in enterprise-scale security architectures and cloud security principles.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills for executive stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall enterprise security architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Design, implement, and govern security controls and technologies across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead security architecture reviews for new projects, ensuring security by design.
• Develop security standards, policies, and best practices for infrastructure, applications, and data.
• Architect solutions for threat detection, incident response, IAM, and DLP.
• Mentor security and IT teams and stay current with cyber threats and trends.
