Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Lead Scrum Master to drive agile practices across multiple development teams in a remote-first setup. You will coach Scrum Masters, facilitate ceremonies, and remove impediments to help deliver high-quality software.

You will partner with Product Owners, track velocity and metrics, and champion continuous improvement. Strong communication and self-management are essential for success in a distributed, fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a Scrum Master with at least 2 years in lead/senior capacity.
• CSM or PSM certification required; Advanced CSM (A-CSM) or PSM II/III desirable.
• Proven experience coaching multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Lean.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Scrum Masters and development teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Identify and remove impediments hindering team progress and productivity.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops.
• Assist Product Owners in backlog refinement and ensuring a clear and actionable backlog.
• Track and report on team velocity, sprint goals, and other Agile metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to ensure consistent adoption of Agile practices.
• Champion Agile transformation initiatives and advocate for Agile values and principles.
