Placements24 is seeking a Lead Renewable Energy Engineer for a fully remote role to drive design and implementation of solar, wind, and energy storage projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering and bring 8+ years of hands-on renewables experience.
You will lead conceptual and detailed design, guide teams, conduct feasibility studies, optimize system performance, and ensure compliance with standards while contributing to a global clean
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of design, engineering and project management experience in renewables.
- Strong knowledge of grid integration, power electronics, and safety/regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design and engineering of renewable energy systems (PV, wind, storage).
- Develop conceptual designs, detailed engineering plans, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and performance analyses.
- Oversee selection and procurement of electrical components, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers and technical staff; ensure project success from initiation to completion.
