Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Lead Process Safety Engineer to spearhead safety initiatives for remote operations, including projects in and around Tembisa. You will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety management systems to maintain high process safety standards from design through operation.

The role requires leading PHAs (HAZOP/LOPA/HAZID), managing MOC, investigating incidents, and delivering training while ensuring adherence to OSHA PSM, IEC 61511, and other global

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• Min 8 years in process safety with oil & gas focus
• Proven PHAs expertise and safety case development
• Knowledge of OSHA PSM and IEC 61511
• Remote leadership and strong communication
• Experience implementing safety culture initiatives

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PSM programs
