Placements24 seeks a Lead Process Engineer for a fully remote role focused on sustainable chemical processes. You will lead design, optimization, and scale-up, mentoring engineers and coordinating with R&D, manufacturing and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of progressive process engineering experience including R&D, scale-up, and project leadership.
• Strong expertise in sustainable chemical processes, green chemistry principles, and process safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization, design, and implementation of sustainable chemical processes.
• Mentor a team of process engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Perform process modeling, simulations, and feasibility studies for new tech.
• Develop P&IDs, equipment specs, and safety protocols for novel processes.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration.
