Placements24 is seeking a Senior Remote Chemical Engineer specialized in Sustainable Process Design. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while leading efforts to develop greener chemical processes and improve resource efficiency.

You will conduct LCAs, evaluate eco-friendly pathways, and collaborate with global R&D and operations teams to embed sustainability into new and existing processes. Strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with sustainability focus.
• 6+ years in process design with sustainability emphasis.
• Proven LCA methodologies and tools experience.
• Strong communication and remote work capability.

Responsabilidades

• Design and optimise sustainable chemical processes with waste minimization and energy efficiency.
• Conduct Life Cycle Assessments to evaluate environmental impact.
• Research green chemistry opportunities and renewable feedstocks.
• Develop models and simulations with environmental metrics.
• Collaborate with global teams to integrate sustainable design.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations on sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and corporate targets.
• Contribute to sustainability roadmaps and strategies.
