Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Lead Process Engineer for a fully remote role within its Oil & Gas division. You will design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex process systems, leading project teams and shaping strategic process engineering initiatives in a global, flexible environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
10+ years in process engineering within Oil & Gas.
Proven leadership and project management experience.
Expertise in process simulation and P&ID development.
Strong remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and implementation of PFDs and P&IDs for oil and gas facilities.
Conduct process simulations, heat and mass balance calculations, and equipment sizing for optimal performance.
Perform PHAs and HAZOP studies and implement safety measures to mitigate risks.
Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, project managers, and operations staff.
Oversee process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
Stay abreast of new technologies to drive innovation in process engineering.
