- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years progressive mechanical engineering experience with leadership.
- Experience managing remote project teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, budget and timelines are met.
- Lead a remote team of engineers and technicians, providing technical direction and mentorship.
- Develop detailed project plans with resource allocation, risk assessment and milestone tracking.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations and client specs.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among distributed team members and external stakeholders.
- Conduct rigorous performance testing and validation of mechanical systems before final delivery.
