The role requires a Master's/PhD, 8+ years of experience, and a track record in R&D or product development. You will collaborate across disciplines, publish findings, and contribute to sustainable technology

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science.
• 8+ years of progressive mechanical design experience with advanced materials.
• Proven track record leading projects and teams.
• Expertise in material properties, characterization, and manufacturing processes for advanced materials.
• Proficient in CAD and simulation tools (FEA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communicator.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of systems using advanced materials.
• Analyze material behavior under loads, temperatures, and environments.
• Develop design methodologies for new materials.
• Collaborate with materials scientists to define requirements.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, validation.
• Mentor a team of engineers.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
