Placements24 is seeking a distinguished Lead AI Ethicist to spearhead responsible AI development and deployment across the organization. This fully remote, senior role collaborates with researchers, engineers, product managers, and legal teams to embed ethical considerations at every AI lifecycle stage.

The position requires an advanced degree with AI ethics specialization and a proven track record in ethics governance.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Computer Science, or related field with specialization in AI ethics.
• Extensive experience in AI ethics, responsible innovation, or technology policy.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies and their societal, ethical, and legal implications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI ethics strategies, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Lead ethical impact assessments and risk analyses for AI systems.
• Provide expert guidance on bias, fairness, transparency, privacy, and accountability in AI.
• Educate and advise cross-functional teams on ethical AI practices and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the company's AI ethics initiatives in industry forums and public discourse.
