Placements24 is seeking a forward-thinking AI Ethics and Governance Specialist to join its expanding team. Working remotely, you will help shape policies, establish best practices, and foster a culture of responsible AI development within the organization.

You will assess risks, collaborate with legal, engineering and product teams, and deliver training on ethics, privacy, fairness, and transparency in AI applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Ethics, Law, CS, Public Policy, or related field.
• Knowledge of AI ethics, fairness, accountability, transparency and governance.
• Experience in policy development, risk assessment, or compliance in tech context.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and societal implications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate ethical dilemmas and provide practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ethical AI frameworks, guidelines, and policies.
• Assess ethical risks and biases in AI systems and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor AI developments and relevant regulations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with legal, engineering, and product teams to integrate ethical considerations into the AI lifecycle.
• Conduct training and awareness programs on AI ethics and responsible innovation.
• Advise on data privacy, fairness, accountability, and transparency in AI applications.
