Placements24 seeks an AI Ethics & Governance Specialist to join the AI & Emerging Technologies team in a fully remote capacity. You will help shape policies, conduct impact assessments, and ensure responsible innovation across developments and deployments.

Collaborating with legal, engineering and product teams, you will monitor for bias, advise on best practices, and stay current with global regulations to build trust and fairness in advanced systems.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in AI ethics, technology governance, or a related compliance role.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their societal implications.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience developing policies and conducting risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ethical guidelines and governance frameworks for AI systems.
• Conduct AI ethics risk assessments and impact analyses for new projects and technologies.
• Monitor AI systems for potential biases, fairness issues, and unintended consequences.
• Advise engineering and product teams on best practices for responsible AI development and deployment.
