Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Lead Exploration Geologist to spearhead their gold and base metals exploration initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying new exploration opportunities, developing conceptual models, managing exploration projects from inception to target generation, and leading a team of geologists. This role requires a deep understanding of diverse geological terrains, structural controls, and various exploration techniques. Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in structural geology, stratigraphy, and deposit modeling for a variety of deposit types.
• Proficiency in geological software for modeling and data interpretation (e.g., Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS, Vulcan).
• Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required for project oversight and business development.
