About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Remote Exploration Geologist to join their geographically dispersed team. This role focuses on analyzing geological data, interpreting geophysical surveys, and contributing to the strategic direction of exploration projects across various regions. While the position is fully remote, you will be integral to the company's field exploration strategy, working closely with field teams and management. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, capable of performing complex geological analysis independently, leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive discovery and assess potential mining assets from their home office, supporting operations that span the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data sets to identify and prioritize exploration targets.
• Develop conceptual and predictive geological models using remote sensing and GIS tools.
• Plan and oversee remote field data acquisition programs, liaising with field geologists and contractors.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, memos, and presentations on exploration progress and findings.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and budgeting of exploration activities across diverse projects.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Geology or a related earth science.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mineral exploration, with a strong focus on data analysis and target generation.
• Demonstrated expertise in using geological software, including GIS (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and modeling packages.
• Experience in managing and interpreting data from various exploration techniques.
