Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Exploration Geologist to join a fully remote team, focusing on identifying and evaluating mineral prospects from anywhere in the world. The role emphasizes autonomous work, data interpretation, and collaboration with remote field teams.

You will use Leapfrog, Vulcan and ArcGIS to model deposits, analyze geochemical and geophysical data, and prepare technical reports supporting project progression. A Master's degree and 6+ years in mineral exploration are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geology, Economic Geology, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of mineral exploration experience with diverse deposit types.
• Proficiency in Leapfrog, Vulcan and ArcGIS for geological modelling.
• Experience in data analysis, interpretation and technical reporting.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to identify and prioritize exploration targets.
• Develop and interpret geological maps and cross-sections, utilizing advanced modeling software.
• Collaborate with remote field teams to plan and oversee exploration programs, including drilling and sampling campaigns.
