Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead Enterprise Architect to define and guide the strategic direction of our technology architecture. This remote-first leadership role focuses on scalable, secure, and cost-effective enterprise-wide solutions, collaborating with senior stakeholders and IT teams from a location in South Africa.

You will shape architectural standards, oversee governance, and mentor other architects while driving innovation across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Proven 10+ years in enterprise architecture with 3+ years in lead/senior management.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or Zachman frameworks.
• Strong cloud, microservices, APIs, data analytics and cybersecurity grounding.
• Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap aligned to business strategy.
• Define architectural principles, standards, and governance.
• Lead design and implementation of complex enterprise solutions across domains.
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate strategy into architecture.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for innovation and competitive advantage.
• Provide architectural oversight to projects and ensure standards.
