Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead AI Solutions Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of scalable AI strategies from a fully remote setup within South Africa. You will translate business needs into robust AI-driven solutions and guide cross-functional teams toward a long-term technological vision.

The role requires deep expertise in AI/ML, experience deploying large-scale AI systems, and strong leadership to drive innovation across business units.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software architecture and development experience, with at least 5 years in AI/ML.
• Proven track record deploying large-scale AI/ML systems in production.
• Experience with NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, and generative AI.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI/ML solutions with focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define AI roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams through development and deployment.
• Evaluate and select AI technologies, frameworks, and platforms.
• Develop best practices and documentation for AI development and deployment.
