Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Lead Electrical Design Engineer to steer our design initiatives from a remote location. This senior role requires a visionary leader who can guide a team, set design standards, and drive innovative electrical systems across projects.

You will shape the technical direction, mentor design professionals, and collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure high-quality, compliant electrical designs while enjoying a remote-first work environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in electrical design with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of electrical design engineers, fostering technical excellence.
• Oversee the electrical design process from concept to construction support.
• Develop and enforce high standards for design, documentation and quality control.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients and other disciplines for integrated designs.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments and problem-solving sessions.
• Stay current with advancements and best practices in electrical engineering and design.
