Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Lead Electrical Engineer to drive remote engineering initiatives in a distributed team. You will guide design, development, and verification of electrical systems and products while setting technical direction and mentoring engineers.

This role requires a Master's in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years of experience with at least 3 in leadership, expertise in schematic capture, PCB layout, embedded systems, and power management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience, including leadership.
• Expertise in complex system design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and power management.
• Proven ability to mentor teams and manage remote projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering team in design, development, and verification of new systems.
• Define technical strategies and roadmaps for electrical projects.
• Provide mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Oversee lifecycle from concept to production release.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Software leads for integrated development.
• Champion best practices in design, documentation, and testing.
