Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Educational Technologist to join a fully remote team, guiding technology integration for educators and learners across Tembisa and beyond. You will lead a team, manage LMS platforms, and design training to improve teaching outcomes.

You will drive pedagogical innovation, ensure reliable tools for remote learning, and collaborate across departments in a flexible, digitally-forward environment. Competitive salary and benefits accompany this leadership role.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
8+ years in educational technology, with 3+ in leadership roles.
Proven LMS management experience (Moodle/Canvas/Blackboard) and edu-software familiarity.
Strong pedagogy knowledge and ability to translate theory into practice.
Excellent communication and remote leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic vision for educational technology integration aligned with educational goals.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of educational technologists and provide professional development.
Oversee LMS selection, implementation, and maintenance across platforms.
Design and deliver training programs for educators to maximize tech-enabled teaching.
