Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Remote Lead Educational Program Manager to oversee strategic planning, design, and evaluation of educational initiatives for underserved communities. The role requires steering a remote, globally dispersed team and managing complex budgets and KPIs.

You will shape program strategy, ensure timely delivery, and collaborate with partners and donors while advancing educational access. A Master’s/PhD and 10+ years in leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in International Education, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive educational program management experience, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Proven strategic planning, program design, implementation and M&E in diverse contexts.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs with budgets.
• Strong leadership and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Proficiency with program management software and online collaboration tools.
• Grant writing and fundraising experience is desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote, global environment.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of educational programs aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
• Develop program plans with objectives, strategies, budgets, timelines, and KPIs.
• Mentor a diverse, geographically dispersed team of program staff.
• Oversee program implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, government officials, partners, and beneficiaries.
• Monitor and evaluate activities, using data to inform decisions.
• Prepare comprehensive program reports for donors and leadership.
• Identify risks and create contingency plans.
• Stay updated on best practices in international education.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement in program delivery.
