The ideal candidate has a Master's in Civil Engineering, Pr Eng registration with ECSA, and 12+ years leading municipal infrastructure projects. Remote leadership and sustainable engineering focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• At least 12 years of experience in civil engineering with municipal focus.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of water, wastewater, stormwater, and road design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of municipal civil infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical guidance to project engineers and staff.
• Oversee engineering designs, plans and contract documents.
• Manage schedules, budgets and resources.
• Liaise with municipal clients and authorities to ensure project success.
• Conduct QA reviews of design deliverables.
• Develop project management strategies for complex municipal projects.
• Ensure designs meet South African standards and client requirements.
