Placements24 is seeking a proactive Key Account Manager to drive relationships with major FMCG clients. The role is remote with occasional travel to Pretoria, ZA, focusing on managing portfolios, proposing tailored solutions, and driving sales growth.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in KAM or Sales within FMCG, strong FMCG market knowledge, and solid negotiation and CRM skills, with ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Key Account Management or Sales in FMCG.
• Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics and packaging.
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Pretoria for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with key accounts in the FMCG sector.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within accounts.
• Develop account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients and ensure exceptional service.
• Collaborate with product development and operations to meet client needs.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to management.
