Placements24 is hiring a Junior Electrical Design Engineer for a remote-first role. You will assist senior engineers in creating electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications, gaining hands-on experience across multiple sectors from your home office.

You will learn foundational electrical design principles, work under experienced engineers, and benefit from extensive training and ECSA registration support to advance your career in a supportive, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with CAD software for drawing preparation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting.
• Prepare and update electrical drawings, schematics, and specification documents using CAD software.
• Conduct basic electrical calculations for load analysis, voltage drop, and circuit protection.
• Support the review of technical submittals and shop drawings from contractors.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.
• Learn and apply company design standards and industry best practices in all tasks.
