Placements24 is seeking a Junior Data Scientist for a fully remote role. You will build and optimize machine learning models, preprocess diverse datasets, and run experiments to validate performance, all within a collaborative global team.

The ideal candidate has a strong quantitative background, proficiency in Python or R, and experience with ML libraries. Remote-first environment offers flexible collaboration, continuous learning, and exposure to cutting-edge AI projects.

Formación

• Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, CS, Physics, Mathematics).
• Strong foundation in statistical modeling and ML algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• SQL and relational databases experience.
• Exposure to big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for remote teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analysis and pattern recognition.
• Clean, preprocess, and transform large datasets from diverse sources.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and key variables.
• Design and run experiments to test hypotheses and validate model performance.
