Placements24 is seeking a Graduate Data Scientist to join a remote-first data analytics team. You will apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to derive insights from complex datasets and support strategic decisions across business intelligence projects.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python or R.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with SQL and database management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
• Proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of data science.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.
