Placements24 is representing a globally recognized cloud leader seeking a motivated Remote Junior Cloud Engineer. This remote-first role is open to candidates nationwide in South Africa and offers extensive training to build scalable, secure cloud environments.

You will assist in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), implement infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation, monitor deployments, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with distributed teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP networking concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration, especially remotely.

Key Responsibilities
