Placements24 is hiring a Remote Senior Software Engineer in South Africa. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native apps and microservices, using AWS, Azure or GCP. You’ll write code in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js and lead CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative, distributed team.

You will mentor peers, participate in design reviews, and stay ahead of cloud technology trends to build high-performance software for a global user base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with 4+ years in cloud-based systems.
• Proven expertise with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong programming in Python, Java, Go or Node.js.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and REST/microservices.
