Placements24 is seeking a skilled IT Operations Manager to lead infrastructure and remote IT teams, ensuring stability, security, and performance across the organisation. This role oversees IT operations, staff, and best practices in a distributed work environment.

You will manage servers, networks, and cloud services, develop policies, mentor staff, and drive budgets while aligning technology with business goals. A bachelor's degree and 6+ years of IT ops experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of IT operations and infrastructure management experience.
• Proven ability to manage IT teams in a remote setting.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity and ITIL.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, including servers, networks and cloud services.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Mentor and manage the IT operations team to maintain high performance.
• Ensure security and integrity of data and systems with robust controls.
• Plan IT budgets, vendor relationships and technology procurement.
• Provide technical leadership for IT projects and upgrades.
