Placements24 is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead remote IT infrastructure, support functions, and service delivery across distributed systems and teams.

You will oversee networks, servers, cloud services (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity, while mentoring remote staff and driving security, reliability, and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in IT Operations Management or similar IT leadership role.
• Strong expertise in network administration, servers, cloud (AWS, Azure) and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure operations including servers, networks, cloud services and end-user computing.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures and best practices for security, stability and compliance.
• Manage IT support functions ensuring timely resolution of user issues and service requests.
• Lead and mentor the IT operations team to foster technical excellence and customer service.
• Plan and execute IT projects including upgrades, migrations and new technology deployments.
