Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist to join a remote-first team. You will safeguard data integrity across virtual and physical inventories managed with third-party logistics partners, and collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize stock levels and processes.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years in inventory control or warehouse roles, and strong WMS/Excel skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum 3 years in inventory control or warehouse/logistics roles.
Strong understanding of inventory management, cycle counting, and physical inventories.
Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software.
Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records in WMS and related platforms.
Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories, resolving discrepancies.
Analyze inventory data to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
Develop strategies to minimize stockouts, overstock, and obsolescence.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure efficient receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping.
Track returned goods and reintegrate into inventory when possible.
Generate regular inventory reports for management with key metrics.
Establish and enforce inventory control policies for accuracy and efficiency.
Support new inventory management tech deployments or upgrades.
