Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for a fully remote position, supporting operations across North West and nationally in South Africa. You will monitor stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and implement control procedures to ensure data accuracy.

Collaborating with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams, you will generate insightful reports and drive process improvements while maintaining a high degree of autonomy and precision in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and advanced MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently remotely.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze inventory levels across all warehouses and storage locations.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through cycle counting.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory accuracy.
• Generate reports on inventory status, valuation, and turnover for management.
• Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock adjustments and returns.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procedures.
