In this role, you will log and track claims, gather supporting documentation, and process payments while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Claims Handler or in a customer service role within insurance.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles and claims handling procedures.
• Excellent communication, listening and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and acknowledge new insurance claims accurately and promptly.
• Verify policy coverage and assess claim validity according to terms and conditions.
• Communicate updates and explain the claims process clearly to claimants.
• Gather documentation to support claim assessment.
• Process payments for approved claims and respond to status inquiries.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date claim records in the system.
