Placements24 is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join its remote team focused on higher education programs. You will transform traditional course content into engaging online formats, applying best practices in pedagogy and accessible design.

Collaborate with faculty to create interactive content, assessments, and learning activities. You will ensure courses meet accessibility standards and quality guidelines while supporting faculty with LMS training and best practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Instructional Design or related field.
• 5+ years of instructional design experience in higher education.
• Proficiency with Moodle, Blackboard or Canvas and authoring tools.
• Strong knowledge of UDL and accessibility standards.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop online courses and learning materials using instructional technologies and media.
• Collaborate with faculty to translate subject matter into online pedagogy.
• Create interactive content, assessments, multimedia elements, and learning activities.
• Ensure courses adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG) and quality guidelines.
• Provide LMS training and support to faculty on online teaching methods.
