Placements24 is seeking a senior Instructional Designer to create engaging, accessible online courses for a global audience. You will oversee the full design and development lifecycle, collaborating with SMEs, graphic designers, and multimedia developers to deliver high-quality digital learning experiences.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of instructional design, mastery of e-learning tools, and a strong understanding of ADDIE/SAM.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design and online course development.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS.
• Strong understanding of ADDIE or SAM instructional design models.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging and pedagogically sound online courses and learning modules.
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate content into effective online learning experiences.
• Apply instructional design, adult learning theory, and UX principles to create learning solutions.
• Develop learning objectives, course outlines, scripts, assessments, and interactive activities.
• Select and utilize learning technologies, tools, and platforms (LMS, authoring tools).
• Create multimedia assets, including graphics, videos, and audio, or manage production.
• Ensure accessibility and WCAG compliance of learning materials.
• Conduct pilot tests and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stay current with trends in instructional design and online learning.
