Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Information Security Manager to lead the organization’s security strategy in a fully remote role. You will develop comprehensive security programs, policies, and risk management while guiding a remote team and reporting to executive leadership.

The role requires strong expertise in cybersecurity, incident response, and governance, with a focus on compliance and collaboration across IT and business units. Remote-first environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent extensive experience).
• 8+ years of progressive information security experience with at least 3 years in management/leadership.
• Proven experience building and implementing enterprise-wide security programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the information security program and strategy.
• Oversee risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead and mentor a remote security team.
• Manage security awareness training for all employees.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security into operations.
• Stay current with cybersecurity threats and technologies.
• Manage relationships with third-party security vendors.
