Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in information security, including at least 2 years in cloud security.
• Experience securing AWS, Azure, or GCP and strong knowledge of IAM, data protection, and container security.

Responsibilities

About the Role

This is a fully remote position for a highly skilled Information Security Engineer specializing in cloud security. You will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and managing robust security solutions across our client's cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating cloud-specific threats and vulnerabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls and configurations for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.

• Implement and manage cloud-native security tools for threat detection, monitoring, and incident response.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years focused on cloud security.
• Demonstrated experience securing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, data protection, and container security.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate) are highly valued.
