Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Information Security Engineer to join their expanding global team. Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure to protect digital assets.

This remote role offers autonomous work with cross-functional collaboration and strong emphasis on risk mitigation. You will work on cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), container security, IAM, and cryptography, conducting penetration tests and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security engineering or a similar role.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security.
• Expertise in network security, cryptography, and IAM.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure network infrastructure and systems.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage and configure security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.
• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
