Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an innovative Information Security Architect to join its fully remote team. The role centers on designing, building, and maintaining secure IT infrastructure and systems while defining architectural standards.

You will lead security reviews, develop reference architectures, and guide technical teams to implement robust cloud and on-prem security solutions that align with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years in information security focused on architecture and design.
• Experience designing security solutions for cloud and hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of network security, IAM, data protection, and cryptography.
• Familiar with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks and threat modeling.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable enterprise security architectures.
• Develop security standards, blueprints, and best practices for cloud and on-premises environments.
• Evaluate new security technologies to address threats.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security into projects lifecycles.
• Lead security reviews and provide architectural guidance.
• Document security architecture patterns and reference implementations.
