Placements24 is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge security solutions in a fully remote capacity. You will define the organization's security architecture, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

You will safeguard complex IT environments across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid setups from evolving cyber threats.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security with a focus on security architecture and design.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing security for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
• Deep understanding of network security, application security, cryptography, IAM, and data security.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the organization's comprehensive security architecture across networks, applications, cloud, and data.
• Evaluate and select security technologies to meet business requirements and counter emerging threats.
• Develop and enforce security standards and guidelines for IT infrastructure and development.
• Provide guidance on security best practices, threat modeling, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to embed security in the full lifecycle.
• Lead security incident response and digital forensics for complex incidents.
• Stay current with emerging security technologies and trends and propose architectural improvements.
