Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on the manufacturing sector to serve clients nationwide, including the Eastern Cape region. This role requires sourcing, interviewing, and hiring engineers, production managers, technicians, and quality control specialists in a fully remote setting.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in talent acquisition, experience recruiting for technical roles in manufacturing, and strong self-management skills in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment consultancy, with manufacturing sector focus.
• Experience recruiting for technical and operational roles within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment with strong self-management.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and online sourcing tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for manufacturing roles, including engineers, production managers, technicians, and quality control specialists.
• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates from diverse backgrounds.
• Conduct comprehensive interviews and assessments to evaluate technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Partner with manufacturing clients to understand operational needs and talent challenges.
• Build and nurture a strong pipeline of manufacturing talent through networking and database management.
• Ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
