Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a fully remote operations role. You will troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, guiding on-site teams as needed to minimize downtime.

Remote diagnostics and detailed record-keeping are essential in this position. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, trade qualifications in mechanical/electrical/industrial maintenance, and strong knowledge of control

Qualifications

Trade qualification or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in manufacturing/industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and control systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to work independently and remotely guide on-site teams.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
Repair faulty components and document actions taken.
Respond to alarms and emergencies with prompt resolution.
Assist installation and commissioning of new machinery.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts.
