Placements24 is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a fully remote operations role. You will troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, guiding on-site teams as needed to minimize downtime.

Remote diagnostics and detailed record-keeping are essential in this position. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, trade qualifications in mechanical/electrical/industrial maintenance, and strong knowledge of control

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
• 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently and remotely guide on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join their fully remote operations team. This role is essential for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our client's manufacturing equipment and facilities, regardless of physical location. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery. The ideal candidate is adept at remote diagnostics and guiding on-site personnel when necessary, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of assets within the Manufacturing & Production domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with machinery.
• Conduct repairs and replace faulty components, documenting all actions taken.
• Respond to equipment failure alarms and emergencies, providing prompt resolution.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory, often remotely or guiding on-site teams.

Requirements

• Trade qualification or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
• 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
