Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Procurement Specialist to lead the lifecycle of indirect services for a financial services client. You will source, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships from a fully remote base in South Africa, ensuring value and compliance across IT, marketing, HR, legal and consulting spend.

You should bring at least four years in procurement, a bachelor’s degree, strong analytical skills, and fluency in stakeholder communication in a remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of procurement experience focusing on indirect services.
• Experience sourcing, negotiating and managing service contracts.
• Proficiency with procurement software and contract systems.
• Strong analytical and remote stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for indirect services (IT, marketing, HR, legal, consulting).
• Conduct market research and assess provider capabilities.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies with cost and quality goals.
• Lead SLAs and contract term negotiations.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and support vendor selection.
• Monitor performance throughout contract lifecycles.
• Ensure compliance with policies, budgets and regulations.
• Collaborate with legal and finance to finalize contracts and payments.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier data.
