Placements24 is seeking a Remote Buyer to manage indirect spend from anywhere, focusing on IT, marketing, facilities, and professional services. You will identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain supplier relationships in a fully remote environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement with indirect spend, strong analytical skills and proficiency with spend analysis tools. A self-starter who communicates well will thrive in our autonomous remote setup.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in purchasing with indirect spend.
• Proven remote negotiation & supplier management.
• Strong analytical skills and spend analysis tools experience.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure indirect goods and services (IT, marketing, facilities, professional services).
• Negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers remotely.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential suppliers through online research and networking.
• Analyze spending patterns and market data to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Manage supplier contracts, performance and relationships to ensure value and compliance.
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery to internal stakeholders.
