Placements24 is seeking a strategic Purchasing Manager to lead indirect spend procurement initiatives in a remote-first environment. You will develop category strategies, drive cost savings, and manage non-production goods and services across the organization.

The role emphasizes supplier negotiations, contract management, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver value while maintaining compliant P2P processes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of procurement experience with a focus on indirect spend.
• Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies and leading high-value negotiations.
• Strong contract management, risk mitigation, and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience with procurement software and e-sourcing tools for remote roles.
• MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories such as IT, facilities, marketing, and professional services.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and SLAs.
• Manage supplier performance, conduct reviews, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver effective procurement solutions.
• Oversee the procure-to-pay process for indirect spend ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Analyze market trends to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
