Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a focused Buyer specializing in Indirect Services to join our procurement team in a remote-friendly setup. You will source, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships for non-operational goods and services such as IT, marketing, and facilities management.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in SCM or related field, 3-5 years of indirect procurement experience, and strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills to drive value and cost savings

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect services.
Proven negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, essential for remote work.

Responsibilities

Source and procure indirect services and goods, ensuring alignment with organisational needs and budgets.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and service offerings.
Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with vendors, aiming for the best possible terms and value.
Manage ongoing supplier relationships, monitor performance, and address any service delivery issues promptly.
Ensure all procurement activities for indirect spend comply with company policies and ethical standards.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., IT, HR, Finance) to understand their specific procurement requirements.
