Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Senior Hygiene Specialist in South Africa. You will develop and implement top-tier hygiene protocols, lead remote teams, and guide operations across the country to exceed safety and public health benchmarks.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in hygiene management, strong epidemiology knowledge, and exceptional remote communication skills. A robust remote setup and high-speed internet are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Microbiology, Public Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive hygiene management, infection control, or related scientific leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of public health regulations, infectious disease control, and hygiene programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update comprehensive hygiene policies and standards.
• Provide expert guidance to operational teams across the country on hygiene matters.
• Conduct virtual audits and assessments to ensure adherence to protocols.
• Analyze hygiene data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on research, regulations, and technologies in hygiene science.
• Develop and deliver training on advanced hygiene practices and infection control.
