Placements24 is seeking a Remote Lead Hygiene Operations Manager to drive hygiene and sanitation excellence across multiple facilities from a fully remote setup. You will lead remote hygiene supervisors and technicians, implement standardized cleaning protocols, and ensure safety and quality standards are consistently met.

The role requires a strong background in hygiene management, 8+ years of progressive experience, and a proven track record with remote teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in hygiene, sanitation, or facilities management with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing remote teams and operations.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, local health codes).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with digital tools for remote collaboration, project management, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hygiene and sanitation operations across facilities remotely.
• Develop, implement, and enforce standardized cleaning protocols, procedures, and schedules.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of supervisors and technicians, driving high performance.
• Conduct virtual site inspections and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage the budget for hygiene operations including supplies, equipment, and labor.
• Collaborate with procurement to source cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Develop and deliver training programs on safe cleaning techniques and chemical handling.
• Respond to hygiene-related issues and complaints promptly.
• Maintain records and documentation of all hygiene operations and compliance.
