Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote HVAC Systems Engineer to lead design, analysis, and optimization of HVAC systems from a remote-first setting. You will develop specifications, perform load calculations, and use CAD tools to model performance while collaborating with clients and installation teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of HVAC experience, with proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Trace 700.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
• Proficiency in design software such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Trace 700.
• Strong thermo and fluid mechanics understanding.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop specifications for HVAC systems, including load calculations, airflow, and control strategies.
• Utilize CAD and simulation software to model system performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct remote technical reviews and guidance on installation and commissioning processes.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and installation teams to ensure project success.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC system issues identified remotely.
• Research and recommend new technologies and sustainable practices for HVAC systems.
